Walk 26.2 miles with your dog throughout the month of May. Walk at your own pace, anywhere your pup loves to roam!

A Marathon for Every Dog
The Somerset County Foundation for Higher Education invites you and your four-legged best friend to participate in Marathon Dog Month â May 2026! Dogs register (with the assistance of their owners) to walk 26.2 miles within the month of May.
Walk on our scenic one-mile track at the Somerset County Education Center, or anywhere your dog loves to walk. You have the entire month â at your own pace, on your own schedule.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting Somerset County students pursuing post-secondary education right here at home. When you and your dog hit the trail this May, you're investing in the future of your community.
How It Works
Four easy steps to get your pup on the trail and help Somerset County students.
Register Your Dog
Fill out the registration form and mail your check to the Foundation. Register before April 20th to guarantee your t-shirt size.
Receive Tracking Card
A marathon tracking card will be emailed to you at registration to help log every mile your dog walks throughout May.
Walk 26.2 Miles
Walk at your own pace and convenience â on our scenic 1-mile track at Somerset County Education Center or anywhere your dog loves to roam!
Turn In Your Card
Return your completed tracking card to Suzanne Funa at the Foundation Office in Founders Hall by June 3rd at 12:00 PM.
ðŽ All tracking cards must be returned to Suzanne Funa at the Foundation Office by June 3rd, 2026 at 12:00 PM.
Winners will be announced on the Somerset County Foundation for Higher Education Facebook Page!
